Bude Town Ladies 1 v 5 Plymouth Argyle Ladies 2nds

Sunday 25th March saw Bude Town Ladies take on Plymouth Argyle Ladies 2nd at home in some rare sunshine.

Bude sided a strong team and took the lead midway through the first half as a result from a through ball from midfielder Zoe Curtis to our striker and top goal scorer Sarah Badham who netted past Argyles keeper. Unfortunately a lapse in concentration and fatigue saw Bude go in 3-1 down at half time with the final result seeing Bude loose 5-1. The team worked hard and battled until the end with some fantastic saves coming from our stand in goalie Lisa Cornish.

The ladies can take many positives from this game into their next one which is at home to Newquay on the 15th April KO 2pm.

With a 4 games left to play in the season, the girls are looking to come away with 12 points and finish the season in a solid mid-table position.
