Alex Harrison wins 'Supporters Player of the Year'

Congratulations to Bude Town defender Alex Harrison for being voted 'Supporters Player of the Year' for the 2017/18 season. Alex has made 29 first team appearances this season for the Seasiders and has become renowned for his goal line clearances where he always seems to be in the right place at the right time!

Alex was a summer signing from Week St Mary and initially signed to play for the second team, however he quickly established himself as a competent performer, highlighted by a superb individual goal away to Newquay. After the second team folded Alex worked very hard to hold down a place in the Bude Town first team and his commitment and determination to improve has earned him a regular starting spot and this well earned award.

His hard work and determination clearly won the fans over and he was presented the trophy by Wizzer (pictured left) after Bude's 3-1 over Wendron at the weekend, a victory which secured the Seasiders safety and means more peninsula football at the Broadclose next season!
