What a great day for Bude Vets. After getting promotion to D1 in our first season we beat the D1 2017 champions in our first match.
The first 30 minutes were tough with Lanreath taking the lead. Bude gained extra momentum for Paul Johns to equalise. On 40 minutes Ben Polak put us 2-1 up. The 2nd half was superb with Bude playing good attacking to score 3 more goals 2 from Ben Polak and 1 from Ian Adams. Lanreath did manage to score two further goals but were never really allowed to get close.
We did stuffer some injuries mainly to Ian Marks and Kevin Cornish but we are hoping they are not too serious.
